It is now back in print in quite a seious manner! Or at least over here it is - you know, to catch the whole merchandising wave.

Grojlach,

I'm not adverse to the concept of MP3 downloads. I think its a great idea being able to pick and choose which individual songs you want to download, but doing so without any fees that are passed back to the artists deprives them of the royalties they deserve. If you already bought the album, and simply wanted to download a specific cut, and compile a "best of whoever" cd, then you probably shouldn't have to pay - BUT keeping track of that would be a nightmare. Its kind of like burning a backup cd of your game discs. If you already bought the game, then go to it - if you're making a pirated copy .. tsk tsk tsk.

I just have a very hard time rationalizing any sort of duplication and distribution of copyrighted material for purposes other than backup protection without proper reimbursement to the creators.

Sorry if I sound "holier than thou" on this. I'll get off my soapbox now. Hope nobody takes any offense to this.

Well, I have a few things to say in the defense of mp3s, but maybe we should make a new thread for this? At least, if the moderators even want it to be discussed.

Nah, noone likes him and I think he was better in BotR anyway

And the way his life ends is too

Btw, if it actually still is in print, I think Groj should stop sending it to people as a .pdf file, but if not, then I think it's okay that he continues to do so

How can you say no-one likes him, you put Sauron and Saruman on there and they were far more evil. Poor old Gollum was being controlled by the ring.
