The idea had come around to me about that a couple of times, though I would make it where the mages would actually survive the outcome with Irenicus, so you could possibly have them as allies against Bodhi. But as for running the Asylum itself, I don't know. You'd be basicly running an insane Asylum and I wouldn't know what the benefits could be

Well, first of all you'd need to make a mod that allowed you to get back to Brynnlaw, then you could start pondering ideas about a Spellhold stronghold .

I'd like to see a mod where it is explained what happened before Baldur's Gate 1. A sort of prequel to the whole series. Beginning with Bane and Bhaal stealing the Tablets of Fate from Lord Ao.. I think that would be a brilliant setting for a mod. You could be a youthful Gorion, who learns from his (new?) friend Elminster about the coming events. You then proceed to do quests, and eventually you'll have to save the children from being slaughtered by our famous blackhearted priestess.

Maybe you could even add a little future thingie by making Gorion choose one baby ("Here baby baby!" - Fat Bastard) and the other one stares back at him in such a way, that Gorion believes that the baby understands what's happening. That would be Sarevok of course.

Maybe this is all too farfetched, but I came with this idea before (and Sir Goulum had the same idea) when we were discussing 'what we would like to see as a Baldur's Gate III.

I can imagine the scene now:
Gorion: Hello, I'm looking for a child of Bhaal
Shop Assistant: Sure, we have two specials in today
Gorion: Could I see them?
Shop Assistant: Sure, we have (PC name here) and Sarevok.
Gorion: Ugh, Sarevok's ugly. I'll take (PC name here)
Shop Assistant: Good choice, sir!
Gorion: You take Visa, yes?

Offspring of Edwin and Viconia, that's nonsense! Gorion would only use Mastercard...

Having your kid become the most powerful evil Sorceror in the world: Priceless.

Some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's MasterCard.
