Post your ideas here for some ideas for mods. And mayhap someone would make a mod posted here in this thread.

I have some ideas here.

How many fingers do you have? Ten right? So why can't you wear TEN rings? It would be nice to have a mod that you can wear more than two rings. Maybe TEN rings is a bit overpowered but how about four that would be suitible.

A mod that there are silver, copper, and plantanium pieces. If you read the Dungeons and Dragons player handbook you would know the value of each type of coin. And it'd make things more realstic (But most likely things a bit more complicated.

Contains Brynnlaw Spoilers

Brynnlaw is one of my most favorite places in the game. Wouldn't it be nice if there were more quests there if you are a swashbuckler you would feel more at home there than anywhere else. Maybe you can do more quests on the island such as performing tasks for DeSharik. Even meeting new NPC's that can join you who are also most likely swashbucklers too. Maybe you can go on sailing?

Contains Underdark Spoilers

Extended stay in the Drow city. What I loved most was fighting other Drow again there is opprtunity to do more quests. Maybe if you are female you can rule your own house. And name it whatever you wish and have it as an stronghold. If you are a male you can be an Weapon Master if you are an fighter or a wizard for your house. Maybe you can take part in a raid against another house.

I believe the manual said something about the rings being so pwerful that if you wore more than one on your hand, the magic would conflict and not work properly or something like that...or maybe that was what it said for Diablo...

Having rulership over a house in the Underdark doesn't sound so bad, but then again you have to be aligned with Elhan so he can guide you to Irenicus with the Lanthorn, but otherwise still good.

Hmmm, my mod ideas, actually, I have posted them only they're in another forum. But here they are if anyone wants to read up on them.

Athkatla Under Siege Mod

Yes! Bob, the result of a drunken night including a mind flayer and a mustard jelly, the first ever mustard flayer ... or mind jelly, attacks Amn with a huge army of beggars. The beggars take on the forms of ordinary beggars, and then become ordinary beggars, leaving Bob to find new friends. Bob can change into his jelly form and squeeze directly through walls, then hypnotise dwarves into thinking they are actually cows. Bob can use his mind flayer abilities to confuse himself, causing his right leg to attack his nose. This would be a great mod, because it'd be the quest of one lonely psychic blob trying to find true friendship, before being killed by an angry herd of animal rights protesters.
Or you could just put a few more weapons in, or something.

Somebody needs a shot of morphine.

Gangrell 08-12-2003 03:36 PM

Th .. They tried to stick me in that institute, but I wouldn't let them. Heh .. I, I ripped their eyebrows off! Bwhaahaahaaaaa!

Gangrell, d'ya think a sledgehammer would do the trick? Apparently, a lowly straightjacket can't restrain him, and morphine won't make him sleep.

If only we could get Jim to cast Damage Lecture on him...

Th .. The institute, it was in .. argh ... hell. Fiends in white coats, funny utensils, ridculous table manners, all in a lovely carpeted cell, inside a maximum security prison for people who are 'one picnic short of a sandwich', or however that saying goes.
Anyway, sledgehammers would have no effect. My increased insanity renders me immune to normal weapons, don't ask how because my imaginary friend's imaginary friend told me so. And sleep spells, or boring country music won't put me to sleep either, caffeine runs through my blood like urine.
