Alliene looked at him sadly,

"Hate you? No, I don't hate you. I don't know you. You've taken everything I've ever taught you and sacrificed it to dreaded Lloth for some half-drow half-human that you've known for 2 days and have "fallen in love with"," she shook her head, "You young ones, you always follow your "emotions" but never bother to see reason," her eyes were sharp and serious, "You don't know what it's like to be in love, its not all kissing and cuddling like you might think," she shook her head again, her hair swaying lithely around her back.

Calaethis shook his head, "I'm so sorry Alliene, I didn't stop and think, I never meant to hurt you..." Calaethis voice was sinsere and Alliene could hear the pain in his voice. The he said softly "Come closer, please? I don't want anyone to hear this... and... It hurts to talk loudly..."

"No, I will not. You are not deserving of my audience, male," her face was blank but her eyes were smoldering.

"Male?" asked Cal, "So you have dissowned me?" he shook his head "Why don't you end it? And put me out of my misery? First you break my sword, so I have no melee weapons. Why don't you just finish it? The way a drow would... if you wish to be a drow so be it, slay me then, the way you would as if you were in the underdark. For dishonouring you. For being childish and stupid. For not thinking. For being happy to see someone. Why not finish it, and let me die, with some small amount of dignaty?" Calaethis snapped "You really have no idea of how much you and you're approval means to me, do you? How much I love you. I'd rather that you killed me now, then dissowned me. You can make up whatever you like to my mother, I don't care. Tell her the truth if you wish. Although, it will hurt her more." Calaethis sighed and dropped his head and threw his bow at her feet. "I'd throw my sword at you're feet, but this one isn't mine. I'd swear any oath you wished, my alliegence, anything, but you wouldn't take it. Because you think what I did was unforgivable. Because in you're drowish blood, there can be no mercy. Well, why are you just standing there? Speak to me damnit!" Calaethis said angrily, tears involentairly running down his face.

Alliene's face grew dark and she lowered Nizzre to his bow, igniting it. Her face was a mixture of fury and sorrow, and with a swift moved she picked him up and slammed him against the tree,

"How dare you! How dare you speak to me like that! You think I don't love you? You naive surfacer! You don't know drow society, you don't learn about us by spending 2 days in our cities. I don't kill you because I'm not full drow, otherwise you would have been dead a long time ago. Its my sea-elf blood that stays my hand from my blade when youre being insolent," she lifted her chin, "You despise being treated like a child, but when you act like a bloody child, you'll be treated like one. You reprimand me while that human tart insults me like there is no tomorrow! Youre actions are dissapointing and inadequate," she was turning her sword slowly behind her back

Calaethis bows his head. "And now I have no weapons left." he sighed "I'd say I was 'sorry'.. but it wouldn't make any difference would it? You're still mad at me. If I begged, would it make any difference? If I said 'Please Alliene, forgive me, I am truly sorry and never meant to harm you, I didn't think, and yes, you're right, I am behaving like a child, and that I loved you, I always have and I always will.' Would it make a difference? Really? Because if it would, I'll appologise. I know that I've been 'trying' recently, and I am sorry, but you've been so snappish and..." with a wail Calaethis threw his arms around his cousin's neck, and layed his head on her bosum, and sobbed like a child. Calaethis clung to her tightly, and whispered how "sorry" he was, and expected her to fling him to the ground.

"Lucky Cal gets to hold her like that. To bad i wasn't a little spoiled child that whenever something didn't go my way i just could go and cry on mommy's bosom. If i ever thought of doing that my own mother would have kicked my ass." Dameon muttered under his breath so no one else could hear him.

Alliene made no move to push him away, but neither did she raise her arms to console him,

"If you want my forgiveness, Calaethis," her tone was flat, "You have to listen to me, do you hear? Otherwise I'm going to send you back to your mother with the message that she needs to do something about her 'insolent child' who 'disrespcts his elders'," she took a step back and let his arms fall to his side and she stepped back into the water, "Now leave me be. Youre friend Kaltia has spurred unwelcomed memories of my past, and I need to be alone with them. Good day," and she disapeared back under the water.

Calaethis nodds, and replies "As you wish." Then he turns around and stalks into the forest becoming one with the shadows, and sits down at the base of a tree, and reflects upon his behavoiur over the last two days. Shamefully he admits that his cousin was right, and he had been behaving badly. He sat with his head in his arms, and thought... reflecting on how tolerant his cousin had been with him, which shamed him all the more. He had fully expected her to punish him, and had half wanted it.. he would have said more, but she'd just dissapered... he knew he'd been behaving like a spoiled child, and had wanted his cousin to tell him to 'snap out of it'...why she hadn't, he was lost. He had provoked her, and expected her to hit him. Still confused, he reflected for several moments, and then an hour... finally he fell on his knees and prayed, to any female elven diety (good ones) that were listening. Time passed, he wasn't sure how much...

***how much time that passes is up to the rest of u guys, when ur ready, go n fetch Cal.***
