hmm...kinda like safana from BG1, would have been nice to have her in BG2. Anyone ever discover that if you got her drunk she would come up with all sorts of random talk?

I think Jan with just about anybody is great. The only exception would be Keldorn; Jan's humor curdles and takes on a surly edge when he encounters the paladin's bland confidence in might and right.

Perhaps Jan's best encounter is that one with Viconia, when your own character gets a chance to join in the fun.

i guess my most fave NPC was in BG2, he's Minsc. he's so funny altho he looks like a dumb person for me he is kinda funny

I have 3 faves all from BGII-
Minsk - Big and funny plus there is boo
Jan - a good theif and he is very funny
Edwin - gotta have sarcasm (he reminds me of me)
