Poll: If Baldors Gate was a movie...

I just saw "Gone In 60 Seconds" Angelina Jolie for any part. Also juia Roberts would be great for Jahera and Meg Ryan for Nalia. Also I think Arnold Swarzenneger would make a great Sarovak (bad guy in the last game for any new people).

K keeping with the game you need six Characters + Imoen and two main villains.

To make the most interesting storyline I would have use Jaheria and Minsc since there originals and have common goals to defeat Irrenicus I would add Edwin for tension with Minsc, Keldorn for some Leadership and Aerie for pity and a circus scene works easy and is near the beginning for easier charcater development and of course Imoen, Bohdi and Irenicus so I would cast

Aerie: Anna Paquin (young attractive has acting ability and can come of as annyoing if she needs to.)
Minsc: The Huge German guy in Gladiator (has the accent wouldn't look bad bald and painted and couldn't
you just see him with a hamster)
Edwin: I agree with consensus here John Malkovich is an Excellent choice
Keldorn: Here is wear you can put Russel crowe (as stated above he is to old for the lead but he
commands respect and they can age him if need be. besides we all know he can pull of a leader
with leadership)
Jaheria: Charlize Thernon (right age, stern, attractive, and comes off as a better adventurer than
Zeta Jones)
Bohdi: Sigorney Weaver by far (scary, vicious, ruthless and seductive at the same time few can do that)
Irrenicus: Christopher Walken (If you know any acter scary then him be my guest to cast)
Imoen: Alica Witt (red head, attractive but not skanky and anover good mix to everyone else)
Main character: k I would go with a male spellcaster here it ties in best with the whole Gorian thing
he can also pick up advice from edwin which would really piss the party off. So I would
cast someone like Jered Leto or Ewan Mcgregor.

Maybe it's the fact that it's 2.30 am but this idea isn't as unbelievable as it sounds. Say the Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings movies do well, as they probably will, then knowing Hollywood they will want to make more similar movies. Look at comics movies. Since blade and X-Men did well every comic ever invented nearly is being at least investigated for movie treatment. Now say they want to make another Dungeons and Dragons type movie. What is more obvious than the best selling RPG and most popular D and D game ever. Baldurs Gate!!! It would bring with it a gauranteed audience of people who have the game too and the plot is already written and is very well thought out. The only other option would probably be a movie on Drizzt. But for him you'd need about six movies. As people have shown there are lots of great characters of all styles in the game. Just my rambling.

Angelina Jolie would do great for Safana from BG1, dont ya think. They both have long dark brown hair(though anyone could dye their hair), they strangely have a same look too.

Also, Ralf Möller with a bald head is great for Minsc. He even could do the accent...
