Really? The lower resistance spell and stuff doesn't work on the demi lich? Who knew! Obviously me. [img]smile.gif[/img] I'm sure the Dragon's Breath did the most. Why would Wail of the Banshee make Anomen and Minsc disappear? That's imprisonment, isn't it? Or did WofB end up eliminating whatever protection the two of them had so the demi lich could then imprison them? Still trying to figure out all of the nuances of the spells.

Demi-Lich Howl (same effect as Wail of the banshee) will instant kill those who fail saving throw vs. death magic. Imprisonment doesn't need help from any other spells, it can imprison anyone who's not protected by SI and the green scroll. I reckon you didn't cast the right protection from magic on Minsc and Anomen, only the green scroll of protection from magic do wonders. The easiest way to handle that demi-lich in your case, is to send in your mage, with SI on, alone, and drop it with a dragon breath.

True Sight is a wonderful spell! Dragons Breath is one I wish they had never invented...ont he 2 RoG bug, it might not be cheating like entering a cheat code, but it is taking advantage of exploits in the game. Kangaxx didn't own 2 ring of gaxx's and if you pickpocket, then get one in the drop, you might aswell just shadowkeeper 12 in for all of your characters.

LOL! I like it very much altough Detect Illusion is even more wonderful. About Dragon`s Breath:it is nothing wrong with it`s dmg but the fact that ignores MR.

well, my F/M went to fight him with true sight on, but still very difficult to target him...that's how nasty his invisibility combo is. more than that, as soon as you have others to detect illusion or invisibility, he will drop a dragon breath on those who cast the spell.

use prot from magic, death ward (important!!!!!), and you are good to go. Just use weapons +3 and better. preferable that you pick crom fayer before you go at craxx or whatisitsstupidname. Second demilich is piece of cake. I take edwin, cast tensers, blade of disaster, death ward,prot from magical weapons, improved haste. Sometimes i do not use tensers, when i want it to suffer. mwuahahahaha. Edwin takes the demilich easy. if i see that the spell prot from magic (which i also cast) runs away, i cast one extra.
i remember that i reloaded 7 times at craxx and decided that he is not worse it. the second that i got tob expansion....he died like a fly. but, i play without patches, so my advise may be not so good.
If demi sommons-use death spell as soon as there are enough of the summoned, to be a bother.
