they sure are b****es. Anyway, what's everyone's favorite tactic against these suckers? I can't even kill 'em, before my party is down 4 or 5 portraits. It's a real bummer. Also, anyone run into a scripting issue with Kangaxx? I actually have killed him, but the game switches to story mode (no interface, no control) and just sits there. Can't do anything but alt-F4 out.
Thanks!

Regarding general Demi-Liches tactics, you can refer to the link in my signature. One handy tip about the Watcher's Keep Demi-Lich, you can choose to send in only one party member into that room.

As for the bug, have you installed the patch and Baldurdash Fixpack? Did you install any 3rd party Mods?

Easiest way to kill any Lich or Demi Lich: Give one of your warriors the Mace of Disruption +2, equip him with Boots of Speed, and have him read the scroll Protection from Magic. So unless the (Demi-)Lich has some real powerful summons, he will stand for about 5 seconds. ;)

Okey dokey, sounds good. Is there a way to both complete the sculpture quest in SoA, and still get a Mace of disruption +2? Can that fake ore be used for anything?

Yup, give the fake ore to Sir Sarles (the artist), and everything will turn out great. ;)

I tried that, and he caught me on the fake ore... do you need a certain CHA to sneak it past him?

daan 05-01-2003 03:36 PM

Nope, you simply say he can stuff it after that and return to the temple with the fake ore ... dont worry, things always have their way of turning out right ;)

Well, asking for the best tactic against Liches and their big brothers, I say: High level cleric ! In my party I have Anomen (SIR Anomen it is) at lvl 35. Just guide him into the middle of the action and turn on turn undead. Bye, bye liches. Only disadvantage: He always comes home covered with the remains of their rotting corpses after they blew up. He, he.

Easy as goblin pie: one spell, and thats Dragons breath

wonder what that floating skull was?

OK, so i get my multiplayer part up to gaxx... first i do the cheeze with pickpocketing, and it turns out he has no items. ok dokey, that's cool. So i kill his first form, and have my ranger/cleric there ready, dualing mace of disruption +2, and undead hunter wielding holy avenger. the second the demi lich pops, my ran/cleric smacks him, on the second hit, he bites it! i hadn't even had a chance to select a spell yet! talk about lucky thanks for all the input anyway
