I might be thinking of something else. Are you talking about Protection from magic scrolls? Or Magical Immunity (I'm not really sure if thats the right name...might be something else, its just I'm pretty sure I didn't use a PfM scroll against Kangaxx, but whatever it was did basically the same thing).
