***SPOILERS***

The Bladesinger Chain +4 is real good, but it is found way to late in the SoA game to use it properly (Suldannessellar)... the Drow elven chain +3 is also considerd powerfull, but without a bug exploit or the use of SK it is only usable in the Underdark...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bladesinger Chain +4:

The lore of this suit is difficult to determine, either due to the exotic circumstances from which it sprang, or the wish of its previous owner to conceal its location. Secrecy would certainly be desirable, as even rumors of such a mail as this could provoke deadly interest. It is the pinnacle of elven craft, and a truly blessed item.

STATISTICS:

Armor Class: 1
Weight: 15
Requires: 5 Strength
Not Usable By:
Druid
Mage

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drow Elven Chain +3:

The delicate yet sturdy craftsmanship of the Elven races allows them to design many beautiful yet utilitarian goods. Among these is Elven chain mail, which is so finely wrought that it can be worn under normal clothing without revealing its presence. This and its lightness allows it to be worn by thieves and fighter/mages with few restrictions.
This item, like most drow equipment, is created using Adamantine, an alloy of adamantite that quickly turns to dust if removed from the Underdark.
This magical drow chain mail gives the wearer a bonus of 5% to magic resistance and takes 1 off of the speed factor of all spells cast by the wearer of the armor.

STATISTICS:

Abilities: +5 Magic Resistance
-1 to casting time of all spells
Armor Class: 2
Weight: 12
Requires: 5 Strength
Not Usable By:
Druid
Mage
Kensai

When you leave the Underdark, the Drow items in your invtentory are automaticly disintergrated (sp?)

This only happens when you enter the ''Underdark exit'', if you import Drow items via CLUAConsole or SK they will not be disintergrated even when it is bright day light... only when you re-enter the ''Underdark Exit'' they will disintergrate.. (it's a bug that can easly be exploited)

[add] The Baldurash fixpack fixes this bug IIRC.

lol. I'd love to see you stay in the underdark and complete the game
I think Arias means not to never leave the Underdark but... to keep a hold of the Drow items (because they do not disintergrate there), I can't specificly say what I really want due to the lack of propper englisch (sorry) but I think Arias can explain what he ment.

And not traveling at day is not an option though because everytime when you enter the Underdark Exit they automaticly turn to Adamantime dust even when it is night without a Moon. And there is no other exit from the Underdark accept that particular one.

[add] Arias give's 2 ways to presurve Drow Items, one is inrellevant because you cannot continue the game without leaving the Underdark...
the second one is also inrellevant because what ever you do.. the items are suppose to be only usable in the Underdark (look at the stats of those items.. they are overkill )

Okay Arias plz explain ... because ive done my best..

Doesn't the High Merchant get pissed at you?
No, you just don't receive the REP bonus that you would get if you gave him the mantle. There was one time, however, that he entered the battlezone and got hurt by one of my party's area effect spells......

Allow me to clarify. I'm referring to killing him after the battle between the two families and your party has begun. I have no idea whether or not you can kill him beforehand and not experience a loss in REP.

IIRC.

You can kill both Alibakkar and ... the other noble and all of their guards, with NO reputation loss.
I don't think it's possible to give a mantle, kill him, give to other, kill her and take it to mayor.

There are many ways to bring adamantine items out.
-Give it to a party member and send him to Copper Coronet.
-Have your familiar (only ferret?) steal it - the game doesn't check its inventory.
-(this baby is mine!) Put all of those in the Bag of Holding, and toss it as soon as you gain the control over your party. When the talk is over, arrange your parrty in a long line, the first should stand over the bag of holding, and the last near the map border. Now open the inventory and pass the bag to the last character and drop it. Gather your party, pick the bag and quickly leave. (Complicated, ain't it.)
-The easiest way - SK the items when you are safe.
BTW, the plane in ToB checks for drow items as well, maybe other areas, too.
