ooc-obviously you guys don't know anything. Any intelligent person who played Throne of Bhaal would know that Sarevok at lvl 40 has 21 STR, and 21 dex. Dragons DO have 24 str, smart boy, sheesh, ever read their stats b4? And Verloren has cleric classes only for the sake of D&D, otherwise she is a pure fighter. *tsks* AND i also posted that VERLOREN went down to the CAVES where ALLIENE and AVALON were and she TOLD you guys to FOLLOW HER. If you read my last post CORRECTLY that is. I'm happy about all these new posts and what do i see besides 2 playing posts but a %$#@ load of oocs! GAH! INCINERATE THEM ALL!!!!! Damn, sorry, I didn't get any points with Zues today, even though i got 1st in my class *curses*, so i'm still peeved about that. Anyway, i'm gonna send you a PM calth. And remember, if you don't agree with my chars stats, Alliene is a favored of a goddess, so is impowered with whateber bonuses Shar decrees she is worthy for. If you check back at the Last Hazardous Times thread you would see Verloren wears an amulet that Avalon gave her with special enchantments also *ahem*

Alliene mumbled and started to roll over, but for sake of decency Zachana pushed her back over, waking her up. She glared at Calaethis as if she didn't quite recognize him, then shook her head and nuttered a curse in drow, "Shev? of course he can come. I'm also bringing Wind Shadow, Verloren's war stallion. All you have to do is tell me his location," she yawned and spied her shirt next to her. She sat up, facing away from the party, and pulled it over her head. She turned around, pulling it straight, "You can use the bathing quarters in my room, Skye," she stretched her arms above her head and hugged Avalon's claw, not wanting to get up, "Ah...it is so good to be home..."

Now, i never claimed either of my characters are the best fighters, although any of you are free to challenge Avalon, if you have a death wish But the fact that Alliene uses magic makes her that much more empowering in battle. So NYA at all of you, hmph [img]tongue.gif[/img]

OOC - I'm not gonna aruge with you LB - especially in light of that pm. I was ust pointing it out... I said "I believe not even dragons have" - Also - I was talking about those weak little whites - the ones that COB's eat for brekfast. I'm sure that Avalon has 23 maybe 24 str. Also - as I said to you in the pm - 18 str is high enough for any pc - still, it you wanna have your char at 21, thats up to you - (mutters something about "anti-munckin socities") Its just that having a *trend* of excredibly high str would be a bad thing. We already have some over powered players *cough* no pointing any fingers *cough*doesn't-apply-to-Alliene/Veloren*cough* You *do* realise your stronger then a giant LB? I think that girdle - erm, hill giant was about 19 str, fire giant was 21. If I recall correctly. How about a compromise? - have your orignal str at 18 - 19, n take a girdle of fire giants str? bleh - enough - this game should be fun, not a rules debate. And captive IS a lot of fun. Calaethis tried to remember where Shev was, and shrugged. "Hes somewhere about Alliene. Probably out in the forest terrorising all the other wolves. I think I recall that he was supposed to meet us somewhere. I didn't think bringing him here would be such a good idea - why not send Zach to go to him, then teleport back?"

IC: Aeris thought back to the moment when he first fought a highpriestess(OOC:AH crap!I forgot if Alliene said Hand maiden or High priestess),he did'nt fair to well during the battle.He had only fought 3 high priestesses in his life so far and wondered how hard it would be for him now.He still wondered if had the strength to beat one.

ic- Skye thanked Alliene and after being directed to the location of her room went into her bathing quarters. Slipping off her sweaty clothes, she went in the hot water and leaned back with a sigh. "Now this is living!" she said to herself blissfully. She made a mental note to start practicing her fighting more, so she wouldn't have to worry about soreness as much. After a few more minutes she got out, not wanting to hold anyone up. Sliding one of her new outfits on, she admired her reflection.

"Not too bad, if I do say so myself," Skye said with approval. It consisted of a silvery blue tunic that complimented her eyes, that changed different shades depending upon the angle you saw it. The leggings she wore to complete it were of a dark purple. Leaving her long damp hair down to dry, she buckled her belt, which held her pouches and sheath, around her middle over the long tunic, and swung her elvish cloak over her back. back at the cave where everyone else was Skye said "Thank you for letting me use your bath, Alliene. I'm ready to go when the time comes."

Shadow leans back in his chair and starts sharpening his daggers. After noting that everyone is doing his own thing he decides to have a search around the area and try to spot anything interesting.

Calaethis muttered darkly and in a sour tone replied "Earn your worth and scrub pots, and hopefully stay out of trouble..."

At hearing cals reply dameon booms with laughter. "that was a good one cal. You konw what you children can do? You can protect Allienes home. With most of us adults gone you will pretty much be alone. so you should stay here and be extra perceptive for attacks but not attack anyone go run and tell the closest adult." dameon says to the children

ooc- Sorry bout my tirading ooc guys. It was totally mady up for today when I got 2 Circuit Champions and overall Grand Champion Gelding in the youth division .
But anyway keep in mind that when you roll stats for ur chars u can set their str to 18 and such. And i'm not modifing any stats, just think of it as they have +str items on, which they do, and we are not restricted to one ring per finger, since Alliene wears 2 rings of Magi and several others. And also keep in mind of their LEVELS, at their age and lvl they would have high stats.

Alliene nodded to Skye and slid off Avalon's paw, stretching her legs and shaking out her hair, I need a bath too, come to think of it...might as well finish up in here, She examined her nails breifly before looking at her companions,

"When the time comes, House Streea will be magicly protected by a certain...spell I've developed. Even though they won't be expecting the attack, we do not want our House left vulnerable, and unfortunatley 2 childeren won't be sufficient," her gaze focused on her cousin, "I am surprised you do not know where your animal familiar is, I suppose a ranger's spells work differently. Wasn't he with that...Kaltia-Shar flamgra ilta ulu chuthen!- woman? I suppose I had better just let Zachana go," she worked her spell and a forest popped into appearance, "Don't give me that look, Zach. Just find Shevarash, ok?"

The dragon snorted and stalked through the gateway. Instead of closing behind her, it wavered and the trees disapeared and were replaced by a large open grassland. Miles away, a large palace could be seen. Verloren's eyes nearly popped and she stuck her head through the gateway, letting out a piercing whistle. There were moments of silence, then a distant whicker was heard, and a thundering. Verloren gasped joyously as her war stallion, Wind Shadow, galloped up a hill and plunged through the gateway, causing everyone to scatter out of the way. The magnificent animal tapped the ground with a dinner-plate sized hoof and cocked an ear questioningly at Verloren,

"We are in Verloren's home, dearest friend. See?" she gestured to her sister and the horse snorted and nodded. Verloren reached up and hugged his massive neck, "I have missed your company, Windy," he lowered his head so she could hug him better and gave an affectionate nicker. When she let go he stretched his neck up and snorted at Dameon, whom he stood barely taller than. Snuffling, his ears flattened to his head until an elvish word from Verloren brought his head back down. Alliene grinned,

"I figured we could use his help,"

Verloren chuckled and nodded, "This is indeed the happiest I have been in a long time," she picked at her clothes with a frown, "Let us take a bath sister, it has been a few days since my last,"

As they were walking to Alliene's room, the drow spied Shadow, meandering around and looking bored. She nudged Verloren and nodded to him. Verloren grinned and walked up behind him, treading hard on his heel with her toe, causing him to stumble and lose his shoe. Giggling wildly, they darted into Alliene's room and got into the bath, still laughing.

With his princess gone, Wind Shadow swung his head around to view Dameon again. Something his princess had thought of the man, for he knew her thoughts well. He snorted loudly and laid his ears back again, before he trotted over to Avalon with a friendly neigh.

***OOC LB! *gasp* Thats a HORRIBLE thing for Alliene to say! I'm shocked at her! Quite shocked! "Shar mind burn her to ashes" or "burn her mind to ashes!" [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img] what a thing for Alliene to say! Bad Alliene! [img]graemlins/agree.gif[/img] ***

Calaethis made a face - "I didn't want to poke around inside his mind whilst he was in a den filled with females cousin... and no, hes not with Kaltia." He nodded in approval at Alliene's plan to seal off House Streea. Stragically, it was good not to be left vunerable. "Alliene, are you going to instruct the children on what not to do whilst they are here? I don't think it would be a good thing to come back and find that your mother has had them both thrashed soundly for stepping out of line - whether they deserve it or not. Skye might react... strangely." Calaethis made a face, remembering the last time he was in the underdark. "Anyway, how soon until we deploy our forces and move out? Will we be teleporting in by the way? Also - will other groups of your mother's move in to occupy the rabble - It would not be a good thing to be swarmed - ah, but you've already thought of that haven't you? Sorry cousin - I just wanted to double check."
