Skye gestured at Pathris. "I suppose that would be the wisest thing to do, but don't expect me to kill any of them. I don't kill when they don't have a way to fight back." She wandered about the room, looking to see if there was anything worth her while. (okie k-spree, anything good in this room? )

(ooc: Oi, sorry I wasn't around again. Friday I was stuck with my friends all day eating pudding and playing cards, and today I'm suffering from a LOTR overdose. I never thought I'd get too much Legolas...)

Skye
After the obvious doors, hobgoblin corpses, and the pen full of overgrown centipedes, you did find a few little extras. The hobgoblins had left behind a small fire with some food that seemed edible, though it didn't look or smell like anything you'd ever had the pleasure of eating. Posted on the wall across from the door you came through were two strongly burning torches. What really caught your attention though was when you approached the single closed door. Coming through the cracks of the rotting wooden door was tiny rays of dim, dusty gray light...

Turgon nodded to himself, as the last hobgoblin fell to the ground. The centipedes were still running around in their pen, but they didn't bother him at the moment. "As long as they're locked in, we'll probably be safe."
He didn't answer Pathris' question at first, rather he looked up a Lurin. He hadn't done much in the fight. He walked over to the ranger, and said: "What do you think, Lurin? Should we leave these monsters alive, or shall we leave them to Pathris?"

OOC: Time for DA to show up again, I think.

ooc: Where is DA anyway? He hasn't been on in 10 days! *Grumbles profusely* This does not please me. I'll have to come up with some creative way to kill him if he stays off too long. Dead weight characters are not my cup of tea ... Maybe I'll take over his character while he's gone... Oh boy (Don't know I'd be good at that YET. I haven't gotten a feel for his character.)... Or maybe we'll just compensate for his loss by adding a pop-tart or two to the party. How does that sound, Skye?

OOC: Can't you just control Lurin until DA is back, Spree? I'm eager to carry on, seeing as we seem to be right at the exit of this hellish place.

(ooc) sorry about my leave of absence. i am back now though. sorry i have not been on for a while. had to catch up on so much work, ill be on regularly again now though.

lurin looked at the remains of the goblins. his mind had been quite strange, clouded, untill they had been killed. he stepped out of the shadows, this dungeon was definately effecting him, and he did not like it.

turning to the group he muttered "i hope we find a way out of here soon , i don't think i can take much more. this dungeon has had bad effects on me that i did not forsee"

Pathris was tired of waiting for his companions to decide the fate of the insects. "Perhaps I should let them out of the pen for you, just to make things fair? I can't imagine that the those hobgoblins were going to release them on us because it would make the fight fairer," he said to Skye with a roll of the eyes. He didn't understand why "good" people insisted on fair fights when you know the opponent is not going to fight fair. Utter stupidity. It's not like they were going to take off their armor if their opponent was unarmored to make a fight fair. Why would things be different now?

Pathris grabbed a couple of arrows from Lurin's quiver (not wanting to waste all of his own) and began systematically firing on the insects one by one. He left the last one alive though, and looked at Lurin. "Do you want to try and communicate with it before I kill it? If not, then I'll just finish the business here and we can keep going."

Skye looked haughtily at Pathris. "I never suggested you release them, only that I won't participate in killing the creatures." Turning on her heel, she walked over to the door with light shining through the cracks. Examining it briefly, she opened it quickly, half wondering what would be on the other side.

ooc- ack, what's this doing so far down?! and where's k-spree? and what happened to ryukari? I don't think I'm supposed to be controlling the little dragon...

(ooc: I've contracted the plague, Skye. I've been feeling lousy the past few days, since I finally caught the big ol' flu virus everybody's been getting. But don't worry, now that you've posted I can post. And don't worry about Ryukari. He was just blocked by everybody else during the battle, he'll be hopping at your heels now.)

Pathris
Due to circumstances, your arrows kill the two centipedes you shot at easily.

The Party
Ryukari clicks over to Skye's side, his muscles tensing in preparation for an assault.
Then, Skye opens the door to reveal...
Stairs that go up, up, and away from this bleeding dungeon!!
