Captive-Chapter 2- A new hope...

[Kaltia]

Kaltia's expression softened. "I don't think you're a child, Calaethis. Maybe Alliene does because she has to protect you."
Then, slowly and softly, she kissed him.

[Calaethis Dragonsbane]

Calaethis flushed and half turned, letting Kat's lip brush his cheek. "I... I am a child.. well, the humans call the age I'm at an 'addolescent'.. I.. " He breaks off flushing "I've never been kissed like that before he whispered.. tenderly and hesistanly he kisses Kat on the forehead.. "You should know... I've.. never done anything like this before and.. " he breaks off, but makes no move to leave. "I'm not sure if..."

[Kaltia]

"Cal..." she closed her eyes, looking hurt briefly, before moving slughtly back. "If it helps, I've never done anything, felt anything like this before."

[Calaethis Dragonsbane]

Calaethis saw the hurt in her eyes, and dropped his "I-I'm sorry, I d-didn't mean..damn..." he broke off, and hesitently placed his arms around her shoulders, and hugged her slightly, and whispered "Alliene can see all of this..curse her!" Calaethis eyes were filled with anger, regret and sorrow. "I love her.. but..."

[Kaltia]

Kaltia whispered, "It's not a bad thing to love your cousin, you know." she placed her head on his chest, smiling sadly. "I certainly don't think she would approve of this."

Calaethis place one hand on her head, and hesistently, slowly and gently ran his fingers though her hair whispering "I don't care." Then he grinned "See, I sound like a child, act like one, and therefore, to Alliene, I am one..." then he sighed, and placed his cheek on her head, half sitting up. "I really don't care if you're half human or not. I just wish you and Alliene would get on... you could be more poliet" he suggested.. "but.. I just don't know.." he broke off

She held herself at arm's length to him, a smile playing on her lips. "I came to apologise to Alliene. Do you think she will accept it?

[Calaethis Dragonsbane]

Calaethis nodded "I think- I hope so. I don't know whats gotten her so worked up, but she isn't usually like this... I honestly don't know.. heh, if she reprimands you, I suggest you just take it, and say nothing, or raise to any baits, being drow.. well, you know what drow females are like" Calaethis flushed, "Excuse me.. I didn't mean to offend you..." then he sighed "I'm gonna have to appologise to her as well... but when shes calmed down I think... you know, she's probably listening to all of this..."

SHe paused. "Heard this all? Calaethis, this was supposed to be private!" she looked stunned and then her expression lapsed. "I don't care what she says, I was speaking true when i said" she darted in and quickly kissed Calaethis' cheek "I love you."

Calaethis looks stunned "I thought you liked me.. but love? Ar-are you s-sure?" He breaks off looking happy "I really didn't think..." then he cuddled her tightly, and buried his head in her shoulder, her hair covering most of his face, he whispered in her ear, (Ali CANT hear this, unless she uses a spell :@) "She probably thinks we're 'predictable' and 'transparent'. I don't care.. I've never felt this way about someone, I love Alliene, but not the same way, I... damnit" then he kissed her cheek "I do love you, but.. Alliene will just have to accept it." He considered what Alliene would say; that he was being impulsive, and ruining his future, and childish. He didn't care. He whispered harshly "She may have raised me as a child..but.." breaking off he muttered "I hope you understand?"
