Calaethis looked around helplessly... then he placed a hand on Kat's shoulder "Don't part like this, please? I have to go with Alliene, I have no choice! She is responcible for me... and if anything happens.. I can't just leave her! You don't understand Family is everything... damnit!" Calaethis breaks off. Then he asks pleading "Take a day or so to cool down, perhaps? And meet us later? Keep Shev with you... until we meet again? Please?" Calaethis embraces her, and turns to his cousin.. with an accusing look in his eyes, however his body langage was respectful...

Alliene moved Zachana forward and pulled Calaethis with her, out of Kaltia's earshot. She crossed her arms and matched his glare,

"Why do you look at me like that cousin? I defend my pride and honor yet all you can do is look at me like its my fault? Explain yourself,"

Calaethis sighs, and submits under his cousin's harsh glare. Respectfully he says "Y-you're right... as always, I won't argue with you.. after all, you're the elder... " Then he bowed his head, "I shall do as you command, as always, cousin..." for the last note, he could not help the bitterness in his voice showing.

The tone of his voice sent a ripple of anger through her and her eyes narrowed dangerously. His attitude was not one she liked, lacking of respect as it was. She snorted at him

"As you were then, if you will act like that," she tossed her head and walked back to the campsite, where she sat down at the shore of the lake, closing her eyes. If only Calaethis were 50 years older he wouldn't act like such an idiot. She sighed and rubbed her temples, a headache was pounding through her mind.

Calaethis sighed and sat down. No doubt his cousin would think he was sulking. So be it, despite what she may think, I was being sensire, I can't help it if... damn, I talk to much, I think too much... and my head hurts! Damn this infernal animal bonding! It affects my judgement! And... bah! Calaethis sighed and buried his head in his arms for a few moments, then he rose, steeling himself mentally, and hardening his heart, and marched over to where his cousin was standing "If we're leaving, lets go." He said coldly. "The day wears on." I don't care if she thinks I'm sulking. Ha, now I sound like a child... Calaethis is filled with self loathing at the moment, he hates himself, for his actions, and for being a child...

Alliene's head snapped around and she glared at him. Nizzre's sheath was shrouded in rings of electricity coinciding with her ire, "We are not going anywhere, and before we do, fix your tone," she stabbed Vilzraquath into the water and a shroud of ice formed around the blade, "We will go when I feel better," she wished Dameon was around, she needed to spar with someone

"As you wish" Calaethis replied coldy "I think I will just go and play with something, as a child would, thats what you expect from a child isn't it?" Before his cousin could hit him, Calaethis vanished, and sat down by the lake, Dammnit, I'm really not helping myself.. another part of him said why should I care? she treats me as a child anyway.. hes feelings were in conflict and turmoil, his emotions were erratic I wish I'd never gotten up this morning..I hate myself, I'm such a moron sometimes... A couple of tears ran down his face, and with a sigh Calaethis layed his head down, and dosed off, his eyes closing, and his features lost their bitter twist and became peaceful. His cousin watched him..

Alliene watched her cousin in silence, stroking Vilzraquath pensivley. What did he expect from her? He acts like a child, he gets treated like one. She had never been talked to with such disrespect from one of her family, given her status among both races. She stood up and began to pace, shooting acidic looks at her cousin's sleeping form. He would learn. She didn't care what he did anymore; If he wanted to run off with an uncultured, uncivilized human-drow that he hardly knew, then let him ruin his life that way. With a last indignant glare at Calaethis, she stalked back towards the lake.

At first Dameon wanted to be a mediator for thier argument. Then seeing the level of anger that was quickly rising he decided that it would not be in his best interest if he got involved at this point. When Dameon saw that Alliene went of toward the lake he figure that he might as well follow her to see what she was going to be doing. He saw her massaging her temples "Do you want me to do that for you i am good with my fingers." Dameon asked with a chuckle." Or are you in the mood for some other form of entertainment." Dameon says with a grin as his hands stray towards his blades.

[Kaltia]

After Kaltia had parted company with them, she decided to heed Calaethis' demands she should return. She paced into the forest, climbing a tree swiftly and sitting on one of the branches...thinking...Callistia lay over her legs and Shev waited at the bottom, but she was thinking of Alliene and Calaethis. maybe I shouldn't have been so short-tempered with Alliene. She has a valid point. She sighed and stretched her legs. It's like mother used to say..."Kaltia, Kaltia, Kaltia. Always running off at the mouth, blabbering the first thing that comes to her mind." and I guess she was right...
Shaking her head, she glanced down at Shev, who had caught something to eat and was enjoying the snack. nice to know Calaethis cares. But what about that Daemon guy? Where's he stand in this?
