Kaltia awoke from another night in the cramped cell, an elven-form Dar snoring like a timber mill on the other side of the room. Briefly, she missed Calaethis, the elf she had realized she cared for....shaking the thought of her head, for thinking of him wouldn't be as useful as attempting an escape, she proceeded to beat the dragon in an effort to awaken him. Possessing unusually sound sleeping abilities, dar growled and bared sharp fangs.

Alliene gave Calaethis a look that could have plucked out his soul,

"Quite satisfactory, thank you," she ran her fingers breifly through her hair and flipped it over her shoulder, "We are about to battle with some Lloth worshippers," she rolled her eyes, "After we are done here we are going in the forest to get ready; tactics and the like. Your help is not required, but you are welcome to help, if you mind doing it for free," her eyes looked into Shadow's.

Calaethis grinned impishly at his cousin's gaze. Then he sat down and waited for his cousin to start her meal. He did have some manners... after all he was an elf (ooc [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) He looked up at Shadow, and said "Would you care to join the hunt?" he grinned wolfishly...

"Well I am sure that these worshippers will have some items of value on them, and I have nothing to do while I wait for a smuggler friend of mine to return. So I would love to join you on the hunt."

"Excellent," Alliene gulped down her food then rounded up her friends, "Come then, I don't want to waste any time,"

The group left the city, which immediatley dumped them into a thick forest. Having traveled here many times, Alliene located a medium clearing,

"This will do fine. Lets get started, drow fight dirty," she sat down and started stretching.

Calaethis finished his food, and followed his cousin to the clearing... Arriving there, he streched as well, suddenly he looked embarressed and walking softly over to her whispered in a barely audible voice "I don't have any weapons cousin..." he sighed and did the warm up exercises with her anyway, not caring if the others were watching or not.

Shadow smiles as he starts applying poisen to his weapons, "Drow are not the only ones willing to fight dirty."

Calaethis looked at Shadow in utter, undisgised disgust. He said nothing, but his look was clearly disaproving. Cal had a very odd moral code at times. He detested posion, just about as much as he detested backstabbing. Of course, if you were assassinating someone. thats different...

OOC-sure, LB. Soz to keep ya waiting, trying to think of what to do next

She was just trying to keep Dar awake for longer than three seconds when hard footsteps sounded outside and with a long, drawn-out creak the door opened slowly. The priestess entered with the most disgusting creature Kaltia had ever seen, long, slimy tentacles, an octopuss-like head, and milky white pupils. She stared at it, hardly noticing the three other females that entered with the priestess and the two elite male fighters.
"illithid," Darlian growled, now fully awake and crouching.
So. A mind flayer. Her mother had told her of those, warning her they were dangerous and near impossible to beat with their unblockable psionics.
Darlian's head lashed out and she felt the intake of air near whipping her off her feet as the beautiful dragon drew in air for his infamous ice blasts. The illithid's tentacles wiggled and the priestesses tossed some odd green powder at the dragon and he swayed, then fell. By that time Kaltia was running, launching herself at one of the priestesses. They both fell onto the hard floor, kaltia punching, biting, and kicking at whatever she could reach of the squirming priestess.
Something hit her hard on the head again, then again, then there was the feeling of being raped in her own mind and everything became silent and black.
