Dear Mr. Baggins,
You nade me feel so guilty about torching two outside my cave, I took one to work.
It didn't last the day.
But the dog humaniods need someone small, annoying and pathetic: Kobolds are perfect.
I still dislaike them though.
Squeky little buggers.
Yrs,
Dragonshadow the Bronze

Bagginsis...where is the stinking little Bagginsis? He demands safety for the yapping ones, and yet he keeps my precious....I wants it...I wants it..

Oh, sorry, lost myself for a moment there.

Are you sure, Legolas, that a dead Baggins would be useless? Oh fine...what about a partially maimed Baggins?

Hmm - Mr. UnderHill tried so hard to make kobolds into civilized beings. Maybe it all went wrong and turned out differently:

Mr. UnderHill is now yaping around with all his fellow kobolds shooting arrows at anything that move

Ehr... I'll leave that entirely in the hands of those who bring our esteemed colleague before this council of highly civilised men and women.

Yes! Chainsaws for everyone

Now, Baggins has obviously made a sharp exit, and is probably using the kobold underground to make his escape. Therefore, we must expect that he has adopted the most cunning disguise. Look out for anyone who looks exactly like him but with a fake nose, bushy eyebrows and thick-framed glasses

Question Mark

My, My .... how quickly this floor has turned to blood.

I must say that I find some of the concepts of B.Y.O.B. intriguing, and might be tempted to entertain some of these principles with unquenching thirst, but there are certain philosophies I can not wholely embrace. I am however, very interested to see any published results from the studies that B.Y.O.B and Mr Underhill have been conducting at Area 51.

I understand the desire to want to improve life and help out the kobold. They, as a species are just not yet ready for full integration. As has been pointed out, the kobold reproduces faster than the Energiser Bunny. Species with such high birth rates need outside help in population control. I have conducted numerous personal studies on kobold living conditions. Left to their own devices, they very quickly reproduce themselves into squalid starvation ridden conditions.

Eliminating members of their population is really the only humane way to help the kobold until such a time as they are able to self regulate their numbers. We only due them a favor by eliminating the sick, old, and less inteligent members of the species. Those that are left to reproduce will only better the next generation (which is only 10 weeks away, on a rotating basis). Until kobolds are evolved enough to attain higher learning, and able to manage themselves, their numbers must be culled for their own betterment. It really is the only humane thing to do.

Hear hear!

Lets go out there and do some good favours

BTW: Another theory that explains, why we haven't seen Mr. UnderHill lately: Maybe the partly 'civilized' kobolds invited him for dinner and 'ate his liver with a good Chianti'
