I doubt it, myself. There are probably other factors involved in rape than just being a bit horny. But who knows.

Nope, there's plenty of hoochies here, but that doesn't stop the rapists from doing their thing. I think it's the thrill of doing something illegal. When it's available for a price, there's no excitement. It's the same with our liberal law on softdrugs. The people against it argumented that it would become total chaos, kind of Sodom and Gomorra, but the reality is that there are fewer people smoking weed now that it's legal, than back in the days when it was still outlawed. It has become a common thing, and common things become boring pretty fast.

It is the oldest proffession for a reason.

Prostitution isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Legalize it, educate the prostitutes on safe sex and provide free condoms. At the very least the government may make some money and we could reduce the transmission of infectious STD.

Educate not regulate.

They're talking about legalizing prostitution, not underage sex. I also don't think this is a valid carrer choice, like dancers people would only want young women.

But I think as long as women see it as a "career" and are not forced or sold into it (which is way to common) then I think it's okey although I feel very sorry for the women. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.
