I am deffinatly an optimist, if i'm angry , or depressed, i'm very much of a pessimist. But in my normal state of mind (hehe "normal") i'm an optimist.

I suppose optimist is the closest.

As I see it, life, the universe and everything goes on with it's slow but majestic pace as it has always have. Optimism and pessimism is just how we choose to see reality and what we focus on. The world in and by itself doesn't really help you, but it doesn't try to make your life a living hell either.

Since there was no "realist" option I had to choose a bit of both.

I'm definitely an optimist. Aside from philosophical optimism on abstractions, I still hold my belief in the general goodness of the human race.

Absolutely nothing.

As an optimist, I don't have to justify anything; I've merely to express a vaguely positive sentiment and I'm golden

I'm a realist. Despite what you lot say about realists being pessimist. If I was pessimist, I'd expect it to fail without a doubt! Whatever "it" is. As a realist, I'm not surprised if its to fail... .
