I sometimes put peanut butter on a toasted bagel. Only either chunky or cinnamon/apple peanut butter, though. I mostly only put jelly (grape, blackberry or raspberry) on english muffins. The holes in it holds the jelly on and keeps as much from dripping off the sides.

Does apple butter and jelly count?

Apple Butter AND jelly? I think you are looking for something with just a little more sugar. If you want sweet things Ornery One, try peanut butter and sugar. That way you won't have to wait for the jelly to break down to get your sugar rush.

Maybe that's why I can't sit still for 5 minutes. LOL!
Actually my aunt doesn't make it as sugary as most people do (the apple butter or the jelly.)

Peanut butter and jam is very nice. It tastes better on toast though!
