Well Pixie your name is not that bad...just look at mine.
I, in an rush of pure unoriginality, called a Paladin character in Icewind Dale Row Firecam. Keldorn is my fave NPC in all the BG epic, only Minsc comes close, and I thought it would be cool if he had a a brother struggling to be as great as him. As I said, my mind was not functioning at that time...not that it ever does

Sephiroth is the plural of Sephirot, the spheres on the Tree of Life in Kabalist belief. its also the main enemy in final fantasy 7, the greatest RPG ever created. and the SSJ4 is the ultimate power in DBZ, the best Anime ever. so i mix the best to create something even better.

I am affraid that my name fits into the "no meaningful reason" category. I just thought of it one day, and have since discovered that I like it quite a lot.
It is however something which I made up, therefore - I guess it is imaginative.

Aurican was the name of the patron gold dragon in the Dragonlance series. I thought it was appropriate since I have blond hair. We all know that blond hair is about as close as anybody can get to having gold scales.. Anyway, I thought is sounded cool for an elven ranger.

Back in the good old days of original Diablo, when everyone was called Lord_of_Death etc. I decided to go for the anthesis and came up with Mouse - kinda liked it and have used it ever since ( and Dave is soooooo common !)

Well, Catzenpewters is the name I use everywhere. Never seen anyone else with it that's for sure! I came up with it when I first started using the internet. It's a fusion (and deliberate misspelling) of two of my interests: cats and (com)pewters.

On-line Diablo was fun. My brother used the name 'Elfrid' in that game (and a few others). This was the original name of his own character Lord Sword (another Old One)

My RL name is Rodolfo in Spanish, Rudolph in English. (I answer to Rudy) I've always had a wolf fixation, and when I found that my name means Grey wolf in German, I adopted that. Then, in the 80's there was a toon called Rudedog and the Dweebs which was liscenced to a surf-wear company that I used all the time. While in college I went by GreyWolfe as a 'net name, and used RudeDawg as an alternative. I kept the silly one, just cause.
