Are there any evil character override cheats that can be installed after installing ToB? Apparently, once you've installed ToB, you're warned against installing any of the Baldurdash cheats and tweaks over the ToB installation.

Ya Kamui, there is one for ToB. Check out Gamebanshee or Sorcerers.net.
I think there's even one to cut the dialogue that causes Minsc and Edwin to go at it...didn't get it cuz I thought it was pretty funny. ![]() [ 09-10-2002, 09:45 PM: Message edited by: True_Moose ]

Well, that's just it... wealth is only part of it. Pleasure comes into it too. Edwin gets his kicks by manipulating and decieving lesser beings, it seems, and generally 'being evil'... under the command of a good guy, he'd find his 'creativity' stifled. PLUS, bear in mind Edwin wants to be known as a great Red Wizard who are devious, treacherous scum to a man. Being associated with real heroes isn't going to do his street cred any good.
Korgan, on the other hand, will just think any good guy is a right milksop and will move on if he doesn't gut ye from topknot ta gizzard a'first.

That makes a lot of sense. I suppose hanging with a heroic crowd does nothing to Edwin's image as an evil character. And with a paladin leading the group, there's no way I can keep Edwin without having to turn to cheats. Oh, well, I tried to be honest. But is the term "good mage" an oxymoron? Edwin's the only dedicated magician in the game, and all the other wanna-be's (Jan and Nalia) pale in comparison.

A PC can be a good mage. Actually, any NPC at all can be a good mage with a little help from Shadowkeeper.
