I think we are getting a wee bit mix-up here. Greater Wolfweres are not undead, and will only be scratched a bit( and I mean a bit) by the spell Sunray.

So what would be the way to kill the besties? Magical, if possible... And for a midlevel mage, please, 'couse advices like "Imp. Alacrity+Time Stop+10-or-so Abi Dizzim's Horrid Wiltings" are, of course, great, but a bit unusefull.. A mage of that level will never have a problem with those beasts

Tralalalala... never had a problem with Greater Wolfweres, never will.

1) Try to use weapons that deal elemental damage. The Flail of Ages is especially good, as is Flame Tongue. Remember to use weapons that your party member is proficient in. Too many times have I seen a person put a weapon on a NPC who has no proficiency in that weapon.

2) Focus on one Greater Wolfwere at a time.

3) Greater Malison and Doom followed by any of the following spells. Chromatic Orb, Magic Missile, Melf's Acid Arrow, Melf's Minute Meteors, Flame Arrow, Hold Monster, Chain Lightning, Flesh to Stone, Disintergrate, Finger of Death, etc... ...

4) If you can summon help, then for goodness sake, do so! Fire Elementals are very good, but any summon is still helpful. Poisonous spiders are especially good.

5) Remember to Haste your party and summons.

ADD] 6) Bolts of Biting and Arrows of Biting are very potent as well.

Or pray for critical hits (which killed that annoying bugger in my case).

And to prevent your mage getting cramp in his hands of casting .. try lowering his magic resistance a bit too. ( i think it's 50% )

ROFLMFAO!!!! I remember that one!
