My mom's side is Cherokee, with the intervention of Scottish with my great great grandmother's husband. My dad's side of the family is German.
On my wife's side, they have traced back to the 1400's, finding a British upper-class lineage with at least one duke. Further along however, there was a family member accused of stealing from the royal court and fled to the America's, coming to Massachusetts and staying there until my wife's dad, being the first of his family to leave that state came to North Carolina.

My Dad's side is German, Irish, Scandinavian(I think) and my Mom's side is mostly English with maybe a bit of German in it.

I wish I knew my family really far back, but I don't.
I do know I've got a mix of welsh and scottish as you start heading back, going back far enough there might be a dutch sailor, aside from that pretty boring I think. My BF has a nice interesting mix, but he got lucky with his looks. He also knows his heritage a lot better than me. I might drag him over here, it's an interesting stroy.

Well I Am going out on a limb and going with Canadian.
 Then if you want to go back a few hundred years go with English. My dad has done alot of research with our family tree. And his side it is English.
