Oh, yeah--now that I reread Jafin's post, you're right. Still, 9 kits for each class wouldn't be a bad thing at all; complex, sure, but not bad. I can think of a couple of classes that could stand more variety when it comes to kits--the Thief and Bard classes are just ripe with possibility, for example.

Helm is the patron god of homosexual males, as witnessed in the case of Anomen, so it's perfectly sensible for paladins to worship him.
![]() (I'm kidding, on all counts, here.) Seriously, though, they should have made at least ONE female deity to worship. *there is no smiley angry enough, so imagine one here* That pissed me the hell off. No offense, but I'm not worshipping anybody male! There's been enough degrading patriarchal nonsense in my life so far. Games are supposed to be an escape of sorts, a fantasy, not a rehashing of stupid sexist attitudes.

The mod sounds fascinating, though. It'd be interesting having a duergar in a party! EDIT: Oops, that is my "bad"...I just looked it up. Sorry, SixofSpades! You're correct. -Sazerac [ 07-08-2002, 08:58 PM: Message edited by: Sazerac ]

Who's correct, Sazerac? I said Deep Duerra was a demigod, too. Well, either way, that makes one brain fart for each of us on this thread. I could have had Yorin (my hypothetical Duergar) worship Abbathor, Laduguer, or Loviator, but I didn't want him to be too much like Korgan or Kagain. What's wrong with worshipping a demigod, anyway? I am considering making him an Priest of Bane, though. (He's very old, and not quite used to this young 'Cyric' upstart yet.)
And Wynne, you'll be glad to know that my pretend MOD also includes a Female Half-Orc Cleric/Thief, who's a Priest of Tymora (Luck 1/day per 5 levels, Tymora's Smile 1/day per 10 levels--Smile is just like Boon of Lathander, but without the Negative Plane Protection), and turns Viconia into a Priest of Shar (Blindness 1/day per 5 levels, Power Word, Blind 1/day per 10 levels). I'm also including a Lawful Good Barbarian, a Gnomish Kensai, and a Lich. Wild & crazy stuff, man....
