Ah, it's actually been a while since we last had one of these topics
Alright then, I'll play

Non-classical (in no particular order):
Recoil, The Mission, Portishead, The Tea Party, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Tori Amos, The Sisters Of Mercy, Emperor, Rammstein, Goldfrapp, Lacuna Coil, Depeche Mode, Switchblade Symphony, Raison D'ętre, Motorpsycho, Angizia, Nightwish, The Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Nevermore, Pavement, Orgy, Queensr˙che, Björk, Therion, Sanctum, Radiohead, Ildfrost, Wongraven, Satyricon, Kari Rueslĺtten/3rd and the Mortal, Fields Of The Nephilim, Daeonia, Muse, Samael, Death, Slayer, Machine Head, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Burzum, The Cult, London After Midnight, Arcana, Type-O-Negative, Bush, and of course I mustn't forget the IW bards Hugh Wilson and Derek Wilson.
(most of the louder metal bands are put there mainly for nostalgic reasons - don't actually listen to that sort of thing very often, but I used to be quite an avid death/black metal fan )

Classical (in no particular order):
Mozart (Zauberflöte, Requiem, Krönungsmesse, etc etc), Tchaikovsky (Pathetique, first and second piano concertos, violin crto), Vivaldi (especially his Gloria in D major), Rachmaninoff (All-Night Vigil, piano concertos), Górecki, Britten, Grieg, Gershwin, Orff, Chopin, Bach, Mussorgsky, Beethoven, Eissler, Janacek, Bruckner, Händel, Vaughan Williams, Byrd, Fauré etc etc

I tend to prefer Pop rock, I have no preference in who the artist is. just as long as the song is hot and the beat is fast.

I've just recently got in to this band and there fantastic Cristina Scabbia has an amazing voice, the best in music(apart from maybe Maynard James Keenan)! I like a few others you mentioned as well although too many to mention, although I must admit I don't know the first thing about classical music...

I'm into Nas the rapper atm. Particularly Get Down, Made you look and I can.
Musically right across the boards from rap to classical.

Hard Core hip-hop all the way. As if you lot didn't know

Charlie - yeah I got that album too - it's pretty good. If you like Nas's sort of of more musical hip-hop you should check out Coolio's "My Soul" album - it is pretty good rap with some nice music.

The last 5 cd's I've listened to:
Johnny Lang "Smokin'"
Deep Purple "The Very Best of Deep Purple"
Derek and the Dominos "Layla"
Shawn Colvin "a few small repairs"
Jimi Hendrix "Band of Gypsys"

and to cement my image of mental instability, I just loaded:
Poco "Poco"
Mothers of Invention "Freak Out"

I'm into all types of rock and roll music, heavy metal, alternative, classic, little bit of the old and the new. Not such a big fan of country or rap music though.
