I finished my BA when I was 30, after 4 years of hard graft.

Working full-time and studying at evenings and weekends is HARD! If you can afford to be a student full-time, take that opportunity and make the most of it.

B.Sc. (Biology) age 21, Tulane University
M.D., age 25, University of Texas (Southwestern) Medical School
I pretty much kept my nose to the grindstone until I reached my goal. Not that I wasn't tempted to take a year off.
I won't be going to Oakland University for my teaching degree. And you have a B.S. degree, while mine is a B.A.

Of course, great minds such as us U of M grads are always similar! [/QB]
Gammit bows to his respected MI/UM/IW/teacher peer. Maybe we'll bump into each other at some conference one day.

I earned an Associates in Electronic Data Processing at age 20, and a BS in Computer Science at age 23. My only mistake was getting out of school and thinking "Well, that's over with." Nope. If you're in a technical field, plan on continuing your education throughout your career.
