Howdy folks.
Now, this is a question for all you folks who have been to and graduated from a tertiary institution. I'm basically just enquiring as to how old you were when you graduated, and what course of study you undertook (Like, BA, BA (Hons), BSc, MA etc.). This arises primarily out of curiosity, but also because it's come time for me to consider how much study I really want to do before I go out into the great wide world. Books vs. experience. The eternal question. Btw: I'm 20 now, and have finished 3 years of university. I've been offered to do an optional 4th year 'honours' course (nothing too special, they offer honours to anyone with marks over 70% :D ), but wondering as to whether I should just flagg it and jump out into the great wide open |
I was 24 when I graduated from WSU with a B.A. in journalism. It took me a little longer than most because I paid my way.

I was 21 when I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Linguistics.
I'm actually going to go back to school soon and get a teaching degree, so I can't say that I'm done quite yet. |

It´s amazing how quickly you can graduate abroad.. around here, you get out of high school when you're 18, that's one year later then in States. Then you have to go to military and waste another year, if you're male. So let's think of this year, you can start university if you have born -82 or before. I´m 21 now and a second year student (in multimedia and technical communications), and it will probably take 3 more years to wrap this thing up. Whooh. Getting out from university before you're 23 sounds ridicilous to my ears..
BTW, in Finland, average graduation age is 28. [ 12-04-2002, 08:48 PM: Message edited by: NiceWorg ] |

I was 22 when I got a B.S. Biology & a B.S. Oceanography (think wet geology) from the University of Michigan. I'll get my teaching certificate this spring (I'll be 25), and I'm studying at Oakland University for that. [ 12-04-2002, 11:07 PM: Message edited by: Gammit ] |
