I found that one odd - normally team dress is mandated by the team captain and no exceptions are allowed. He really stood out as being an individual by going another way to the rest of the team.

Congratulations to Europe on a splendid effort - it's not often they excel in the singles. The efforts of the newcomers Phillip Price and Paul McGinley really stood out.
