Let's see: Diction. That means choice of words especially with regard to correctness, clearness, or effectiveness. I would say that the diction of this poem lacked inventiveness (use of bloodtwice) though its clarity cannot be doubted. It has the air of a translation, as the word "fjord" would indicate. Style is definitely surreal, as recalling a nightmare. It's overall theme is anxiety or angst, a feeling of impending doom. Tone is melancholy, if not alright frightened. I don't particularly like it, and I do like poetry. It has the feel of a caption to a second-rate reproduction of "The Scream."
