For the technical english people, help me out! I need diction, style, tone, and theme of this poem:

The Scream

I was walking along a path with two friends
the sun was setting
i felt a breath of melancholy
suddenly the sky turned blood-red
I stopped and leant against the railing
deathly tired
look out across the clouds that hung
like- blood and a sword over the
deep blue fjord and town
My friends walked on- I stood there trembling
with anxiety
and I felt a great, infinite scream
pass through nature

Now, thats as tough as i've ever seen, and im out of practice. Plus, i havnt done this with poetry b4. Who can help me? [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>

errrr thats horrible. I would say it has something to do with death, the guy who wrote is well... weird [img]tongue.gif[/img] imho of course ;) Blood red skys? uuuuugh. I hate poetry. hmm. Honestly dont know. soz

Got me thinking that poem did, I suppose it could be about any number of things, depends how you interpret it I guess. For me though it seems to represent a journey or a path through life ...perhaps something terrible has happend or things arn't going the way they were intended. I'm not really qualified to help you though so everything I'm saying is probably total crap to an English student type.
