Like Melkor, my favorite band is Black Sabbath!!!!!!! I also like a lot of metal music of course

except for the cheesy metal bands like Poison, Winger, etc.

Everything from ickleback to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. Nirvana and Hole are my two currant favourites. I also tend to wish to shoot people who like manufactured bands, but I won't say anything if someone (god forbid) does

And I haven't defined manufactured bands either

I thought Poison and Winger were more like "Hair Bands"?

Black Sabbath was cool but then I ended up face to face with Ozzie one night in Dayton Ohio LOL *shudders* Life has never been the same.

Oooo Judas Priest, now there's a band that rocked! We used to rent Ramada's (with an alcohol permit lol) in Tucson't biggest park and haul in the house stereo on weekends...Judas Priest at a lethal volume in Surround-Sound while playing softball, volleyball and cooking steaks & burgers...those were the days lol.

Zarr, yeah Staley's death was a major loss to the music world!

It looks like just us metal-heads (lol) have been the only ones to reply here as of yet. Either give it time or figure that there have been so many threads on this subject that people just don't want to answer any more. You'll probably be able to dig some older fav music threads up in the back pages of the Polls Forum.

LOL Moni! Lucky you to meet Ozzy that way! [img]tongue.gif[/img] And yes I was talking about the hair bands, they pretty much suck! They were mainly geared to a female audinece

but you succesfully made your saving throw I guess lol We used to blast Judas Priest in the barracks while partying in Arizona. We werent supposed to have alcohol in the barracks of course but...oh well write me up [img]smile.gif[/img]

Favorite is Metallica...gods of metal, period.

Cannibal Corpse comes in at a close second. I was sort of disappointed with their latest CD, though.
