I think you're right about Yoshi, abdel. He came in VERY useful after Imoen was captured/kidnapped.

I've dealt with Blue Screens of Death many, many times. What the important thing is, is the number of the Fatal Exception. You can go to the Windows Site, for one, and look up what they mean, for some of them. There are many sites out there... I don't remember the ones I got.. but blue screens of death can be page faults, or fatal exceptions... with maybe a third option I've never seen. My computer sucks, honestly... but I've upgraded it since then and now it works. But I used to get them all the time... and we figured out why.

Random blue screens of death are often caused by damaged RAM or a damaged motherboard. We found out that a thunderstorm (we weren't around, I live in Florida, go fig), had taken out my ram... or rather... mutated it sort of. It worked, it wasn't burned out.. it was just odd now... and didn't work totally right. We'd get random blue screens a lot, and I've learned how to fix computers, internally and externally, just from my crapbox here.

It's definately not my hardware. I've got a massive load of diagnostic tools and they all say there isn't a problem. Also, the only game it happens on is BG2. Probably find that something in BG2 is clashing with one of my drivers.
