having 100 strength is normal. I have 112 strength. I think the safest is 150 strength. someone in gamefaqs posted that he broke his Goldbrand in one slash while having 500 strength.

As someone else said - after you get so strong *you are the weapon*. Find the fist-to-fist master trainer.

I'm not an advanced user. Let me see If I get it. As "pure" ability (with no enchanted items etc) an ability can be MAX 100. You get beyond 100 with enchantments right? Is it true that heavy armors have the biggest enchantment bonus?

yes, you'll need enchantment to go beyond 100.
the armor that got biggest enchantment space is Daedric armor ( heavy armor ). |

What enchant level does daedric have? My black leather has 150. Str, bah. I have 210 str, and have yet to break anything. I do repair in the field. I carry tongs, more for the weight ratio. I will say, some items are weaker than others. I have a game built hammer, it does 60-80 points of damage justing sitting there. It always needs to be repaired after a battle. But my Daedric tanto, hardly ever needs to be repaired, it is custom enchanted however.

I don't know, I already enchanted all daedric armor I could find and I don't have any spare unenchanted one to check. but it is more than 150 the black leather have.
so it's still safe to have 210 strength? cool! |

Whats better than Daedric is artifact armor. Lets see, I have Lords Mail, Mask of Clavius Vile, some shield I found in a cave that leads into a small daedric area. Apparently someone famous was buried there. I also have got the Left and Right Fist of Randagulf from Khartag Point +20str for one, +20agility for the other. And my guy refuses to steal from people, so he has ebony pauldrons, greaves, and boots. He also cannot use Daedric weapons or armor without "purifing it" aka, enchanting it.
