There are only five "trainer" books for each skill, you cannot increase much even by console commands (unless there is something like "set skill").

console command is cheating not role playing, but what ever! see below for formula.

press ~ to bring up console comand then type;
(Player->SetSecurity,100) then press enter your security is now 100
this is case sensitive so type it just the way you see it or it wont work!!!!

I kinda disagree. sometimes a game bug will happen even in a patched game, and that's when you have to use console command or else you can't continue your game.

I've played threw Morrowinds main quest three times and have never found a bug that made me resort to useing console command and now I've finished Tribunal and have still not encountered the bug that made me need to use console command.
In my main game that I have been playing since july 2002, I have now explored almost 90% of every square inch of morrowind and completed Tribunal in the same game and still no bug! If you incounterd this bug then maybe you should patch your game or check the main programs in your computer you may have a bug in it!
you could always start a new game with a better Character maybe he/she won't be so buggie or you could always try flee spray HA HA HA HA HA just kidding,
