I am actually considering not dualing to a fighter after all. What do you guys think I sould do (I am in the underdark now and haven't had any serious problems yet well apart from those damn illithids)

Should I dual or not bearing in mind I have to get through TOB yet.

Traps and Backstab laddy thats my tactic and it is working, although my Lockpicking, disarming traps, dispel illusions and pick pocket are exceptionally poor( but thieving potions and call on holy might help(extra dex)).

I have always run a thief. He is awesome. In Underdark he started doing 115 points of backstab damage.

Try starting as a Bounty Hunter, then dual to a mage at level 15 to get the advanced traps.

To any1 who doubts the value of a thief beyond his backstab, lock pick, find traps etc. Try this, he ends up a VERY formidable character!!!

Backstab finger of death anyone?
