So monk and samurai have a maximum 5% chance of getting a critical whereas ninja have a maximum of 6% chance (excluding items of course). Hmm.. so with CoC and 125 critical strike skill, that gives a 21% kill chance per attack.. cool!

Of course, it may not be additive. Instead of 15% + 6% = 21% it might be two chances for a critical, one at 15% and one at 6%, so net chance of a critical is
1 - (.85)*(.94) = 0.201 = 20% well not much difference in this case! [img]smile.gif[/img]

And it depends a lot on the mobs you face. Just like magic, there are those who are less succeptable, and level difference also has an effect.

There isn't enough difference between the two systems[*] to decipher which one is used in the game. I opt for the additive one, just because it's simpler to calculate.
[*] The average difference between the results for the combinations of values that may come up in the game is around .3 percent, with a max difference of .9 percent.
