As for the powerglove -- yeah, that was a sweet item. Much more useful than the phaser pistol, IMO, but the things I said about the pistol above apply to the glove as well.

Plus the glove's not available in 8 so I was going with the list he had given.

well i was at the bucaneer ghosts for 3 hours
i have managed 1 save each with thos weapons.
and i picked the sword cuz i was so tired of the demonsbane
and damn that new srod rocks
it has so much power its just awesome with my fighter.

ohh about my priest
he was a lord for aobut 4 levels somwhere in between
I was so tired off my priest so i decided to make him a lord, but then i decided to wait for him to maxx out as a priest then just make him a fighter. Cuz im not gonna have enough points to use dual wield effectively.

so he started at a lord by the way for 1 level then went to priest for 10 then back to lord for 3 then back to priest since then.
so he has about mid 20's in sword.
not a lot but sword goes up fast
i have had him use a shield the whole game so its at an ok level.

Well, the light shield sometimes turns up the Bayjin chest. The light swords people usually get from the underwater spooks by the shipwreck in the Bayjon Shallows. Most players spend quite some time to get just one, but it IS a wonderful weapon: 5-40, and a one-hander, too.

Never found the mystery ray, so can't say where it might be.

Excalibur is found, so far as I know, only in Davy Jones Locker, the small cave near Nessie. Like most good things, it is random. Players have spent a lot of time reloading the Shallows to get it.

As for the treasury room, you need deposit slips. The Queen's slip you can find in her rooms. The others are in the Constable's safe. The Constable himself is in a locked room in the cellar; pickpocket or kill him for the key.

With the slips in hand, go to the tube near the king's quarters, and put the slips into the tube one at a time. You'll get an item for each slip.

I think the Mystery Ray is another one of those items not available in Wiz 8 unless you had one and imported from Wiz 7. It says on the itemtable.txt file it's in Bayjin. Shrugs.

Mystery Ray isnt just an import item. ive seen plenty of these from the chest in bayjin & on Bucc. ghosts.
