How fast do monks level up? - Page 2

yeah, think your right about him being a blade. Might aswell use him to see what he's like. I didn' have much trouble with them battles. Just don't fall into them pits. Your lucky to get out if you do.

That party looks fairly good, excot i would recomend keeping jaheira, not switching ot valygar or HaerDalis...
She gets alot of spells that Anomen Cannot (ie. druid and harper spells, anomen only gets the other preist spells)

I completed it with Jaherie and apart from being good with a club she was useless. I only used harpers call and maybe plague once or twice. Apart from that she didn't have much use. What other decent spells does she have?.

...i think Jaheira is pretty useful, i like her summon elemental spells as well as faerie dust (i've got the german game version, so maybe my translations aren't 100%)...

...Haer Dalis, isn't useful, however. His stats are to low to make him a good fighter and he can't get enough spells to make him a good spellcaster either, so all you get is a char who can everything a bit but nothing really good...

I don't have a cracked game copy. I borrowed it of my cousin and assumed that it was basically the same as BG1 s I didn't get the manual. I got BG1. Never completed it. I think BG2 has a better learnig curve and is mostly easier than BG1.

I'm just wonderin how I'm gonna do the Valygar quest and keep my group and not kill him, any ideas?

as far as i know, you need valygar only to open the sphere. maybe you could just order on party member to wait in the CC take valygar to the sphere open it, remove him from party and enter the sphere ?

Don'y u need valydar to do the whole quest. I'm not sayin anything more but he might ne nessacary.

You only need him to open the door. Doing the quest with him will lead to additional dialogue, but it is optional. Jaheira is a powerhouse with Spears and Slings.
