Who wants a moustache ride?

That movie was great fun, i have it on DVD. It could have been a pilot for Reno 911, it's the same level of dry humor.

What movies have i watched lately.....hmmmm, there doesn't a aday go without me watching at least one DVD. Right now i'm going through a phase of watching the entire Friends series on DVD, before that i recall having seen 300 Spartans. Tonight i'm gonna watch Fantastic 4-Rise of teh Silver Surfer and/or Norbit, depending on what else is on TV.

Last thing we rented was Holiday or something like that- not bad. One of those movies you enjoy as you go but forget pretty much the minute it's over!

Apocalypto - Very good, nice shots, gore some times a little over the top or extreme, like blood squirting out of the guys head upon getting hit with a blunt club like instument, and where did the children go? logically they may have returned to the village. Mel made them seem inportant than nothing.

Stomp the Yard - Was OK, typical overcome the odds, get the girl movie with a type of dance involved.

Blood and Chocolate - I thought this was really good. I have heard bad things about it but I loved it. Kind of a clash of worlds, and not the typical wearwolf movie, actually not wearwolves according to one of the harry potter movies the other type.

Shrek 3 - So so, started slow but funnier towards the end
Fantastic Four 2 - Decent, not as good as the first
Saw2+3 - Gorey, good twists at the end.
Hot Fuzz - Like it a lot
Kill Bill 2 - Very slow moving. Not as actiony as the first.

I'm sure there are more but I can't think at the moment.

Thanks for reminding me about that film OPEN WATER LZ, it had rave reviews down here, I think it was based on a true story in the great barrier reef. Next time I am at the video shop I will check it out.

Die Hard 4 - Good, bit more over the top than previous Die Hard's, but fit in with the films of that genre of this day and age I enjoyed it.

March of the Penguins, Gridiron Gang and The Last Mimzy. All decent rentals, March of the Penguins is a documentry so some may find it boring but I thought it was cool.
