I always use an XP cap remover. Why do the TotSC stuff if you don't get credit? You can get to L9 or so in BG1, your character(even if imported) starts at L7 in BG2. So, you can either CLUA the XP back in, or role-play it, hence the level draining.

And you`re right, with the items you can find in BG1 the beginning of BG2 would be too easy.
Oh, before i forgett it. Can I take the golden Pantalons with me? You know, there`s somebody in ToB who could need the pants

The pantaloons will be in the dungeon if you have them with you at the end of BGI.
