In a nutshell, while it may not seem that way with the later series like Enterprise or Voyager. In the days of The Original Series and The Next Generation Star Trek was probably one of the most ground breaking sci fi series around. The Next Generation was probably the best of all the series, although the last season was pretty disappointing. All the series after that ride on TNG's success.

While I liked TNG the best, Yesterdays Enterprise especally, I also liked the latter series also, including Enterprise, and I also liked Voyager also, especally the two Year of Hell eposides and the series finially, Endgame, those were pretty good.

I saw it too! Looks like the fly a shuttle into a starship!

PS: I know that Janeway from Voyager is in this movie too, and I thing (Rumor here) that DS9 will also been seen. THAT would be cool.. but Sisko is still with the Prophets I thought.

Yep, from the Internet Movie Database, it said that she's been promotoed to Admiral also, can't wait to see Janeway in this movie also, I always liked seeing Trek crossovers with each other.

Heheh, I liked the part in the deal where Picard zapped the door with the shuttle's weapons, that was cool.

Janeway is the only crossover character in the movie I think, and she's now Admiral (ahead of Picard? Did she sleep her way to the top or something?).

Yeah Wrath of Khan.... Ooops, I mean Nemesis looks pretty cool.
Just iritates me that they are riping themselves off. They wanted an action film similar to WoK, and so they are duplicating it.
Spoilers...

Yes, Data dies in this one, but it's ok, because before he does, he finds another android identical to himself, called B9 (benign) and downloads a copy of his personality/ memories into it. Then Spock-- I mean Data-- sacrifices himself for the ship.
Supposedly, the cast enjoyed this film so much that they wanted to do a sequel to it. We'll have to wait and see on that one.
And Data gets so much screentime because Brent Spiner (being a bit of a dick) would only do the movies if 1. Paramount gave him more screentime and 2. for every Trek film he did, Paramount had to agree to give him a role in a non-Trek movie.
Personally, I'd like to see Dr. Crusher do more. Not because she is such a great character, but because it is unfair that Gates agrees to do the films and is given only about 6 lines in each one.
Oh, and Wesley is supposedly back...
As for Janeway... I hope she isn't an admiral. That would irritate me. Picard should make admiral before her... Also... The Federation should be able to wipe the floor with ANYBODY now, using the future technology that Janeway brought them at the end of Voyager.

I stopped being a Star Trek fan back during DS9; I just lost interest in it. After discovering Babylon 5, Star Trek just pales in comparison.

I will probably see the movie, though.

It compells me....And Rimjaw.....the last season of TNG was great!!!!

Z- I heard that Janeway was gonna be in this movie way before they had a name for it! When I was totally obsessed with Star Trek. She's gonna be an Admiral and she's gonna give orders to Picard.

Arnabas- Data dies??? That would be horrible. In my opinion, Data is the best character, and possibly the hardest, to play especially when he doesn't have his emotion chip activated. Not laughing at good jokes :uhoh:. Wesley! I love wesley! The actor (whatever his name is) did a good job at playing him. If he is back, I wonder what he will do. Oh, and as for Janeway, and Voyagers crew, I think they all got a promotion for surviving and also possibly Janeway had reccomendations for members of the crew. I think that Starfleet promoted her, because she brought her crew home and explored a lot of unknown space.

Yeah, ok, Janeway explored a lot of space. I agree. She brought back a lot of important information. But how many times has Picard saved the planet, or even the entire Federation?
Ah well. Whatever. I'm still gonna see it and probably enjoy it.
