Im not wowed by it yet and I figure I should have probably got a Vampire book because I wanted to read about evil charecters. Next time I suppose, Interview wasnt in the shop, Ill just go straight to The vampire Lestat after this, I saw the film of interview anyway so no great loss. I hope.
I do hope you can get Interview in book form. The movie (as most movies from books do) loses some of the important information in order to fit the story into a 2-hour movie. It was a good movie, but leaves a lot of explanation as to the 'why's and 'wherefore's and motivations behind the vampires. I'm afraid if you do read Lestat before actually reading Interview, you may be left with many questions.

Ive almost finished the vamire Armand as well now and Im not sure how much I like, I was hoping for a more deep down evil kind of guy like in the film (played by Antonio Banderas) I though it was just too nice and then just sad and perverted in another. After reading George R. R Martin nothing will ever shock me again or horrify me so perhaps its not that Anne Rice isnt intense scary or sexy its just that Martin is so much more so, but I digress. Im reading Atlas Shrugged at the moment.
