You have to remember MZW that "she" will not follow you into the kings bed chamber so she is no help. With the guards and summoned dragon the king is just about the right 'strength' IMO. my pure level 21 monk with some good gloves on, solo, could not really hurt him.

The problem is, it would work just like party xp, and someone in the tavern, that's in party would get a stone. The problem I ran into the other day was the slow respawn rate for the king. Of course, I went into the chamber one time, and there were already three stones spawned in. So I'd leave the script as is, and maybe decrease the time between respawns. Stig TC, Moz and I tried everything to get him to spawn a second time, so we could get another stone, and I had to leave before he respawned, if he ever did.

As to the char that I was running, that spanked the king so soundly, it was Davis Lantian IW, and he's a long way from a slouch.

Oh he came back alright. Made sure to try to stick his steel through my sleeves. And to reward him for such diligence, I used two Harm spells on his scaly self and smacked him with some spherical savagery. Yes, those maces are a wonder and a joy to possess, people. If you ever have a need to lay a beatdown, have a mace ready. I am pretty sure someone was there with me when I finally took him out though. The cleric I am using right now I am sure can take him on solo now, if I use the same tactic I used on Elan: remove his assistants, back off, regroup, strip him of protections and THEN use Harm. I am almost tempted to create a cleric of Mask (cleric/thief blend) just so I can have magic spells to strip more opponents of spells and THEN hit them with Harm. Yes, I know I can always just go to Level Twelve and purchase Rings of Harm, but first I'd have to make it all the way to Level Twelve!!!
