Hrmmm....
*thinks about this for a long while* Levels One and Two when you look at them tend to be fairly large for people just starting out. I would say to make the entryway to Level One a little easier, and then have the harder hitting creatures behind the doors around the place. How does this relate to size? Simply put, there IS room for expansion in those two levels. I would not mind a place in the first level where you would find a random adventuring group all resting up for a "future battle" against some "uncommon and powerful" enemy. Make that a quest even - a rescue one to retrieve this friend of theirs from their "daunting and seemingly unstoppable foe." You could even have it do things to alignments depending on how it was carried out. Level Two - normally I bounce through there as well with my highest level characters, but for thoe lower level characters it is a truly interesting place. Once more, subtle additions to the area would not be a bad idea, but nothing too breathtaking - would make it far too easy to get lost after only two levels down. Level Four - well, it already has that waterway to walk through. That was interesting. Maybe if you expanded that waterway walkthrough there to become more involved and engrossing? I know for a fact whenever I use it I find myself wondering if there should/could be more to do down there. Heck, it would make an interesting sub-level unto itself with all the possible water-based encounters you can have in it. Back to Levels One and Two - why not have a few slightly submerged areas for enemies to stand on and assail the characters? Places where you would need distance weapons or sorcery to reach? I have no idea exactly HOW it could be done, but I am sure it can. Levels Five Through To Seven - barely go there with my characters. I should though as they are well put together and make for an interesting run. A new store in Level Six would be nice, but I am sure I could afford to stroll all the way back to Level Five if there were a few more items in that guy's selection. I find going through the first part of Level Five exceedingly slow for me, but I suspect that lag and my own computer's limitations are what kill me there before anything else. (Yes, I sorely need to upgrade in order to fully enjoy your game. Go figure.) So my end statement would be if you want to expand the first two levels, subtle additions would be welcome but nothing that took either of them to epic sizes. Levels Five through to Seven would be my bet for what gets expanded next, but I would REALLY love to see that waterway walkthrough down in Level Four to get its own expansion. Sure, keep the main walkthrough (as that area should be the ONLY straight line there), but expand it to have miniature underground saltwater ponds, perhaps even a lake that "drains" into a further section of the Underdark.
