amazing change! i just dropped by awhileago. Z may have noticed me cuz I thought for a moment i was really talking to halaester and he teleported me from lvl 12 to lvl 4 . so cool!

anyway.. i met up with roddybug and we were very determined to find the lowerlevel secret place. we scoured every inch of the blasted place and found all the secret doors that was placed in the book.

honestly, i thought roddy and I was never going to find the secret entrance to the lower levels then poof.. i found it by accident . lucky me.

hey Z, is the secret door with the thief has anything interesting? i talked to everyone.. there is nothing special in that room. also, i do suggest that if you are going to make a shortcut from the yawning portal to skullport im just suggesting that you should teleport them somewhere not near the entrance of the "secret" passage to the lower levels. that way people will still have to explore a bit. or not.. just my 2c. cheers!

I was watching ya all the time! You were the first to find the secret! Good job!

The secret from the Tavern Bedrooms isn't near the other secret--not at all.
The dead thief is part of a hidden quest. You need to look EVERYWHERE. Every crate, bedroom safe, and behind the stores themselves. You'll find notes and such to lead you to things...

CrimsonBlade-- Remember, this is just the first part. Since last night, I Have added the corrections to the scripts (cornered local) and added more npc dialogue. Also, yes, expect to be called out when you get near chests and stuff. I'm working on that now. Go to the docks, and go to the chests to the left. The guard will walk over and tell you to get away from them.

It's hard to do so many things, takes time, but it's getting there. JUST for the cornered local, that took 8 scripts. (and 3 INT's). crazy, but the payoff is HUGE, and adds to the gameplay. I'll be adding all the final touches on it from today till friday!!

I was loathe to steal everything on my first trip to the new lvl 3, I did peer into quite a few crates and got shouted at by a guard! Great stuff! I had visions of the whole level going hostile - I'll poke around more next time

Hey Z Looked around Skullport today and it was great. I love the place. Was determined to search the whole place and I like where and how you have hidden the teleporters. Makes it a bit harder for everyone to find them

I also like the new way from the Inn to Level 3. Kinda reminded me a bit of the Level 13 entry.

Great Job Z!

After over a year of "Z" and his Undermountain Mod I would have to say "YES HE IS".
For those of you that have read the Series of Forgotten realms Novels known as "The Nobles" They are 5 books:
#1.King Pinch, by David cook
#2.War in Tethyr, by Victor Milan
#3.Escape from Undermountain, by Mark Anthony
#4.The Mage in the Iron Mask, by Brian Thomsen
#5.Couneil of Blades, by Paul Kidd

In the third book "Escape from Undermountain" when Halaster is finally found, he has built himself a complete living model of Undermountain! the adventurers find that (ZIROC) Halaster has modeled every room and every trap, monster, adventurer, and thing in super detail. Then He has taken to smashing the adventurers and monsters with a silver hammer or taking firey molten metal or rock and poring it on the now living models. Some times he will take a group of adventures and send each one to a different level and each one will have its own Dangers to fight or escape from, If they can or die. All the time this was going on they could here Halasters' Laugh echo threw the Caves.
I think that Mark Anthony met Ziroc sometime before 1966 when he wrote the book, Escape from Undermountain. and now at any moment a big hammer is going to come smashing down on my hea NO !NO ! not that NOOOOOOOOOO SPLAT!!!
