Ryan: I think he wants to take the quest to join the guild, then cancel it (Guild-hopping). Bard will let him join, but so will Samurai.

Whichever dungeon you choose (Castle or Boogre Cave) you will have FUN. The Castle is a necessity in regards to the game, whereas Boogreville is not(though it is worthwhile to go through).

Thanks, Saz !!! but, the manual says it's for Wizards, Warlocks, and Bards. Didn't mention samauri. and the priest's guild is for Priests, Paladins, and Warlocks. Do they let other classes in besides the ones mentioned?
Ryan, yes I am guild-hopping. I'm trying to get my stats up ASAP, so guild training as much as possible. ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes [This message has been edited by RudeDawg (edited 05-27-2001).] |

I think this is in "Best Hints", but I'll reproduce it here:
Paladins -> Warrior, Priest Samurai -> Warrior, Wizard, Bushi Dojo Barbarian -> Warrior, Thief Ranger -> Warrior only Ninja -> Warrior, Thief, Bushi Dojo Warlock -> Wizard, Priest Monk -> Priest, Bushi Dojo Bard -> Wizard, Thief Assassin -> Warrior, Thief, Bushi Dojo Valkyrie -> Warrior, Priest Zenmaster -> Wizard, Warrior, Priest, Bushi Dojo That's all the guilds that the different classes can use. The last three are the "elite" ones and have to be offered outside the guilds, so you won't be using those (at least on this playthrough!) -Sazerac |

Saz - Just to add to the list, Assassins can be in the Wizard's Guild without having to guild hop to get there.
RudeDawg - I know what you mean about Jathil being stupid. I seriously think that he has someone (rude aunt, obnoxious uncle, nagging wife, you get to pick) that he does not want to go back to and is using the missing graveyard as an excuse not to go back to his village. He will not enter the graveyard by himself, but he will walk right past it. One time I pushed him into the graveyard and listened to him tell me that he could not find the graveyard while he was standing on a gravestone. No one can be that stupid unless he is a boogre in disguise. I think he can't find the graveyard because if he finds it, he will have to go home. Knarfling ------------------ Only two of my personalites have delusions, but one of them is paranoid and the other is out to get him. |
