Baffled and need a Watcher's spoiler - Page 2

From what you describe, it seems that Resting has some role in screwing things up. Perhaps that after a Rest, the game forgets which statues have been activated and which haven't, leading to a quest-breaking bug.

You can either...

Beat the statues all over again, in one sitting this time (it would be perfectly fine to set lots of Traps near the 2nd set of statues, since the 1st set has already shown what the Statues do), and hop through the portal immediately afterwards
Press X (you'll need to go into Baldur.ini and activate the CheatKeys first) to get the CLUA Area code for Watcher's Keep Level 1, and use trial & error to find Level 2
Open up Shadowkeeper and dig through the Global Variables, a task I don't envy you.
