If you enter in an INVALID combination, you get some really bad random effects (well, mostly bad): 10% chance to gain a Potion of Superior Healing. 10% chance to get 100,000 experience (only for whoever used it) 10% chance to become Imprisoned (bad if it's your main character) 10% chance for 50 fire damage 10% chance turned to stone (bad if it's your main character) 10% chance to lose 1 INT 10% chance for 75 lightning damage 10% chance to be poisoned 10% chance to lose 15 levels 10% chance to lose 1 DEX urm...also, opening the portal to the lower level gives you xp... from the simpson guide...

I just finished using the machine, and you can also get an item (one of the notes gives the combination), as well as all the stat increases. Annoyingly, when I tried to increase Anomen's wisdom, it didn't go past the 16 it was raised to after his knighting, just as if he had an item raising it to 16 [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img]
