i killed them by sending my intire group and just plain and simpley beat them up with weapons such as quater staff+1 and mace+1 it took some time because they cast spells which frigtened my people or froze them but i eventualy defeated them but i dident do this till after i got out of candle keep for the second time but by the my groop was very powerful

This is exactly the kind of fight that stinking cloud makes incredibly easy.
Just throw two of these and at least 50% (maybe more) of the enemies will be temporarily taken out of action, just get your tanks to defend your artillery and voila, instant victory! [img]smile.gif[/img]
IMO stinking cloud is the best offensive spell in all of BG, you've got to be a bit more careful in the later fights due to hostiles having higher saves etc... and of course undead are immune but I wouldn't go anywhere without a few stinking clouds nearby (thank god this is just a game right )

I cant remember, but surely you can utilise Cloudkill at this late stage in the game....I think I could!
