Gotta love Greater Whirlwind asttacks. Get several of them, just keep setting them and your tanks will chop almost anything to chutney, especially armed with Carsomyr +6 and Gram the Sword of Grief. I like Dragon's breath a lot, have never seen much use for Greater Alarcrity or Comet Strike.

It appears that many people are in favor of Normal/Greater Whirlwind; I, also, enjoy--and have my fighters use--that ability quite often. There are only 3 weapons to use when employing whirlwind attacks, though: Silver Sword (for obvious reasons), the upgraded Axe of the Unyielding (for reasons similar to the Silver Sword), and the Answerer. [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img] The Answerer, you ask? Not only does each hit worsen the foe's AC by 2 (making each successive hit more likely) but it lowers magic resistance by 15%; if you time this correctly, highly dangerous foes will become vulnerable to dangerous spells (albeit breifly, but even a small window of opportunity may suffice).

Aclarity + magic missles ? try Aclarity + chain lightning or skull traps or sunfire or some evil and insane mixture.
As for best, dragons breath or the planetar thing.
